How customers sign up for text messages
NexGen IT Solutions texts customers only after they agree. There are two ways to opt in.
1. In person, at drop-off
When a customer drops off a device at our shop, staff ask whether they'd like repair updates by text. The box starts unchecked and is checked only if the customer says yes. The customer's choice is printed on the claim ticket they sign, with this wording:
☒ Yes, text me. I agree to receive text messages from NexGen IT Solutions about my repairs (repair status updates, estimates to approve, pickup and appointment reminders, payment links and replies to your messages) and occasional offers and service reminders. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of service.
The customer keeps a copy of the signed claim ticket.
2. Online, when booking a drop-off or using after-hours drop-off
On our booking page and after-hours drop-off page, customers can check an optional, unchecked box that reads:
☐ I agree to receive text messages from NexGen IT Solutions about my repairs (repair status updates, estimates to approve, pickup and appointment reminders, payment links and replies to your messages) and occasional offers and service reminders. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of service. Terms and Privacy Policy.
